A group of people that look like Western artists and curators inhabit the center of this piece. The artwork represents the artist’s thinking and opinion about contemporary art. At the moment, Western contemporary art has already reached its own development and maturity, whilst the growth of Chinese contemporary art is still rooted in the Western world and it still receives the impact and influence of already set cultural patterns and formats. The artist raises these issues and demonstrates that the Western world has absorbed Chinese contemporary art. In these terms, the artist’s creation offers a possibility and an endless platform for discussion around issues of choices and disputes over power and interests.
